September, 2009 - Annual Scholarship Luncheon

The annual Campaign for Student Excellence Scholarship Luncheon celebrates benefactors and student scholarship recipients of the College.  Students receiving scholarships and the donors who fund them have the opportunity to meet with each other, and students speak about the obstacles they have overcome to attend and succeed at college.  Dr. Richard Carmona, 17th Surgeon General of the United States and distinguished professor of MEZCOPH, gave the keynote address at the 2008 luncheon.

The 2009 Campaign for Student Excellence Scholarship Luncheon is still in the planning phases, and will probably occur in September, 2009, with the date and keynote speaker to be announced. Announcements of scholarship awards to students will be made at this year's event.  For more information about attending this luncheon, please contact Donna Knight in the MEZCOPH Development Office at (520) 626-6459 or by email at dknight@email.arizona.edu.

This forum gives students valuable experience in preparing posters for professional conferences.  Cash prizes will be awarded for best graduate ($100) and undergraduate ($50) student posters. More.
