The 36th Annual Arizona Rural Health Conference is scheduled for Monday, August 3, and Tuesday, August 4, 2009.  The theme for this year's conference is

"Coming Out of the Recession Stronger and Healthier: 

Opportunities, Solutions and Collaborations." 

The Annual Arizona Rural Health Conference provides an environment for networking and disseminating information among professionals and community members for rural Arizona.  The audience includes many branches of the health sector and represents:

  • Community health
  • Environmental and behavioral health
  • Health services providers
  • Hospital and clinic administrators
  • Health policy makers
  • Students, and

  • Academic institutions holding an interest in rural, public and tribal health.

The conference will be held in Flagstaff, Arizona at the High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff, Arizona .  Public health officials and representatives and students are encouraged to attend.  The conference is sponsored by:

  • The Rural Health Office,
  • The University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH),
  • The Arizona Rural Health Association, and
  • The Arizona Health Facilities Authority.

Early-Bird Registration Discounts and Important Deadlines

Attendees are encourage to take advantage of early-bird registration fees, which will be in effect until Friday, July 10, 2009.    Click here to go to the registration web page.

Conference Lodging
