The UA Zuckerman College of Public Health offers tremendous opportunities to its students for education, research and community involvement thanks to a locale rich in history, research opportunities, and university academic resources. The College's interdisciplinary activities are enhanced by being part of the Arizona Health Sciences Center with campuses in Tucson and Phoenix.

MPH  |  Master of Public Health Admissions Criteria

Priority:  January 3
Secondary:  March 1
Late deadline for MD/MPH:  May 1

After March 1, late rolling deadline until the program is full:  MPH Environmental & Occupational Health, MPH Health Services Administration (Phoenix and Tucson), and MPH Public Health Practice (Phoenix)

Note:  No other MPH concentrations accept late applications

Priority Deadline

Students who apply by the priority deadline will be given the highest priority for admissions and consideration for scholarships and assistantships.

SOPHAS Deadline

Your application must be e-submitted to SOPHAS and all supporting documents must be received by the deadline, including letters of recommendation, transcripts, GRE scores, and TOEFL/IELTS scores. The SOPHAS processing time comes after the deadline, so we anticipate receiving your application 3 to 4 weeks after the deadline.

You will receive an e-mail verification once your application has been received from SOPHAS. Applicants are encouraged to begin the SOPHAS application as early as possible.

Graduate College Deadline

Please submit your supplemental application through the UA Graduate College by the deadline. This application is very short and does not require any supplemental materials.

Spring Deadlines

We do not offer admissions to our degree programs in the spring. If you are interested in taking courses in the spring, you may considering applying to a Certificate Program or to be a Non-Degree Seeking Student.

Financial Assistance

The Zuckerman College of Public Health offers teaching assistantships, research assistantships, and small scholarships to top applicants to the program. More informtaion about tuition and financial assistance
