Public Health Poster Forum Abstract Submission 2018

Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for the Public Health Research Poster Forum for 2018!

The EXTENDED DEADLINE to submit an abstract is 5pm - Friday, March 2, 2018!

Presenters may submit more than one abstract for review. Presenting author may submit abstracts to one of two categories:

  • Research:

    This category applies to work that has a clearly defined objective, measureable outcome and a public health application. Abstracts in this category may represent, but are not limited to:

    • Original research, such as a unique or novel approach to a public health problem. Results or benefits may be conceptual.
    • Description of practical applications or findings that can be used to better communities, groups, or populations now or in the future.
  • Community Engagement:

    This category applies to presenters whose work describes the collaboration between higher education institutions or organizations and the larger community (i.e., local, regional, national, global) towards the beneficial exchange and production of knowledge and resources. Examples of appropriate activities include but are not limited to:

    • community engaged teaching
    • public scholarship
    • community service
    • community-based participatory research
