Everyone is invited to join the EpiHack Arizona Demo-Day event on Friday, May 22, 3-5pm, at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine!
At the Demo-Day event, the EpiHack Arizona project team will reveal the digital tool they created to stop the spread of disease in Arizona over the course of the previous 5-days of collaboration.
What is EpiHack Arizona?
In just 5 days, an EpiHack event brings together disease experts and community members with programmers and tech developers to co-create solutions to pressing health problems through a highly collaborative process. The approach was developed by the Ending Pandemics Academy and called an EpiHack (Epi = Epidemiology). Several successful EpiHack events have been hosted in other countries, and delivered disease-tracking digital tools that are in active use today. This inaugural EpiHack in Arizona will propel collaboration to create a digital tool to stop the spread of disease in our state.
