Research Roundtable Seminar: Women's Health Initiative

For September, the monthly Research Roundtable Seminar series for Fall 2026 kicks off with a review of the Women's Health Initiative (WHI), a federally funded national women's health research project. In 2024, the Women’s Health Initiative celebrated 30 years of transformative research on health for postmenopausal women, and researchers from the Zuckerman College of Public health have been contributing and collaborating on the Initiative since 1993 to advance women’s health.

The presenters will be WHI researchers from the college: Dr. Zhao Chen, Dr. Jen Bea, and Dr. Leslie Farland. Additional researchers who use WHI data will join the discussion panel.
