    Before entering the program:

    I worked many years as a physician in Nigeria. In the USA, I have been actively involved in volunteer activities at a local clinic as a volunteer physician.

    Why did you choose public health?

    I chose public health because I want to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills needed to achieve my objective which is to use my expertise and technological advancements in medicine to improve people's lives by creating programs that raise awareness among the masses as to the different ways of preventing diseases while at the same time pushing for policies that support so to produce healthy families, communities, and of course fewer patients at the hospitals.

    Why did you choose MEZCOPH?

    I chose MEZCOPH because my family lives in Phoenix, I love the weather, and my friends recommended the College for me.

    Public health interests:

    Aging, Disease Management, Disease Prevention, Epidemiology, Global Health, Health Disparities, Health of Women, Children and Families, Health Promotion, Infectious Disease, Public Health Informatics, Public Health Policy, Rural Health

    Interests/hobbies outside of school:

    Sewing and embroidery, table tennis, soccer.

    Tip for future students:

    "Hard work pays".
