Members of Partners in Public Health donate $100 or more annually to the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. The money raised is used to inform, educate and empower people with knowledge about today's most critical health issues.

  • Partner with community leaders, organizations and clubs.
  • Raise funds for key public health programs and efforts.
  • Support public health legislation and policy efforts.

Partners in Public Health members receive:

2015 Speaker Dr. Richard Carmona

Dr. Richard H. Carmona, 17th Surgeon General of the United States (2002-2006) and Distinguished Professor of Public Health at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, spoke at the Partners in Public Health Luncheon on May 5, 2015 at the Arizona Inn, Tucson.

Dr. Carmona presented A Surgeon General’s Perspective on Global Public Health Threats and Exceptional Opportunities. He discussed current global health challenges and the universal need for a diverse, well-trained and committed cadre of public health practitioners, “Like those we have the privilege to educate, train and support at the UA Zuckerman College of Public Health.”

Join Partners in Public Health

Partners in Public Health (PIPH) is a group of members dedicated to supporting the mission of the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health: eradicating health disparities, and promoting healthy people and communities. Our partners also focus on supporting public health initiatives through advocacy, educational programming, and outreach.

The annual Partners in Public Health Luncheon is one of many activities drawing keyonte speakers with national and regional public health expertise. Timely topics have included:
