What else are you involved in?

I am also involved in the Public Health Undergraduate Network and Students for Sustainability.

Why choose the UA / What’s awesome about the UA:

One of the best parts of being a Wildcat is the community. UA does an incredible job of creating an environment that fosters connection, and it has been so wonderful to find a network of students, professors, advisors, and other staff that inspire me and support me through my journey as an undergraduate.

Why did you choose public health?

I personally chose public health because I have a passion for social justice, and public health allows me to apply that passion to the health sphere, focusing on eliminating disparities and providing people with the resources they need to have equal opportunity to be healthy. There's something in public health for everyone and it's part of what I love so much about this major!

    What are your career goals:

I hope to work in community health surveillance and programming.

Fun Fact about you (hobbies, trivia, etc.):

When I was young I met Celine Dion in a Chuck-E-Cheese! Superpower of choice: I think it would be so fun to teleport!

One piece of advice for incoming students (transfer and freshmen):

Do things that make you happy! Although resume building is important, clubs and however you spend your time are your chance to build your college experience outside the stress of coursework.
