This year I am a Resident Assistant in Likins Residence Hall and am a student worker in the Asthma and Airway Disease Research Center at Banner UMC. I am also the professional development chair for the Public Health Undergraduate Network (PHUN) and an Honors Alternative Spring Break Trip Leader.Why choose the UA / What’s awesome about the UA:
I was born and raised a wildcat! I am a 3rd generation wildcat and I wouldn't have picked anywhere else to spend my 4 years. I chose the UA because there are endless opportunities and resources. UA is also known for its research and health science programs. I've been able to receive opportunities as an undergraduate that would be hard to find at any other large institution.Why did you choose public health?
Ultimately, I chose Public Health because the major has so much to offer and is applicable in every day life. Public health is everywhere! My passions include science as well as community and culture. The major has allowed me to have the best of both worlds through curriculum, events, and volunteering opportunities. Majoring in public health will allow me to help others in various communities and areas.What are your career goals:
After graduation I aspire to get my MPH and attend medical school. With my academic degrees I hope to work around world through medicine or non-profit work, specifically in rural communities.Fun Fact about you (hobbies, trivia, etc.):

College definitely flies by! Use your time here to explore new interests, join new clubs, and build new relationships.
