Auwal Abubakar, an accomplished public health professional, is excited to join MEZCOPH as a Postdoctoral Scholar in Global Health Equity. Holding a Doctor of Public Health from UC Berkeley, he brings a rich background in medicine, epidemiology, and global health. Auwal has dedicatedly addressed health disparities, particularly in underserved communities. His career highlights include leading polio eradication in Nigeria and contributing to public health education and research at UC Berkeley. Committed to fostering equitable health outcomes, he is poised to advance research and practical solutions in global health equity. With a personal mission to bridge healthcare gaps, Auwal aspires to make impactful global changes.
