Ms. Fleck advises public health undergraduate students with the last name of N-Z.
Ms. Fleck is a UA alum, having earned her B.S. in Health Sciences with a major in Community Health Education and minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Fleck studied abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico to complete her Spanish minor. She also earned her Master of Public Health from the UA's College of Public Health.
As a first generation college student, Melanie came to the UA undecided and didn't declare her Public Health major until her sophomore year. While completing her undergraduate degree, she worked a desk assistant for Housing and Residence Life, volunteered at Planned Parenthood, and served as a peer advisor for freshmen.
Before joining the undergraduate advising team, Ms. Fleck worked as a Health Educator in the Health Promotion and Preventive Services office at the UA's Campus Health Service.
