Congratulations to the 2014 Public Health Poster Forum winners Steven Hadeed and Elizabeth Kizer. Hadeed, an MPH student with a concentration in Epidemiology received the award for Best Poster Highlighting Original Research, titled “Obesity & Trauma Mortality: Sizing up the Risks in Vehicular Crashes”. Kizer, a DrPH candidate (Health Policy and Management), won for Best Example of Science in Service to Society for her poster titled “What Are the Benefits for Using CBPR Principles to Guide a Community Health Assessment?” Both received a $250 cash prize.
