How to Apply
When applying to one of the graduate programs at the Zuckerman College of Public Health, you will need to submit an online application through SOPHAS. The SOPHAS application will walk you through the materials we require, including transcripts, statement of purpose, resume, and letters of recommendation. All domestic transcripts must be official and submitted through SOPHAS. International transcripts must be official and need to be evaluated by the World Evaluation Service.
Once your SOPHAS application is complete, you will need to submit a short supplemental application through the University of Arizona Graduate College. If you ever have any questions, our admissions team will be there to support you throughout this process.

About Public Health
Public health treats the community, not individual patients, so we can stop disease before it starts, prevent injuries in schools and workplaces, and protect our environment so that everyone has access to healthy food, clean air, and good water. Public health provides the methods and tools needed to work with diverse communities so we can combat health disparities and support everyone to lead healthier, happier lives.
A diverse and ever-expanding field, public health produces science-based information for policy decisions, identifies systemic inequalities and problems so we can find solutions, protects our health and safety through education and research, and builds partnerships with communities and organizations to promote good health.
