    Before entering the program:

    Raymond Yurika is a Global Health and Development Expert who has over thirteen years of experience in the public health and development sector, specifically focusing on managing and improving equal access to HIV and Tuberculosis services while addressing the social determinants of health and illness that push more Cameroonians into extreme poverty through catastrophic health expenditures. Before his PhD program, Raymond was an Assistant to the Coordinator of the North West Regional Tuberculosis Control Technical Group where he focused on scaling up access to Tuberculosis services, especially among people living with HIV. Raymond is a 2015 Chevening Scholarship Alumnus who holds a Master's Degree in Global Health and Development from University College London, where he focused on equitable and progressive health financing systems. Raymond is also a 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow (Young African Leaders Initiative)  during which he completed his leadership training in Public Management at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University.

    To improve access to healthcare for all, especially the most vulnerable and marginalized communities.

    MEZCOPH has a rich pool of faculty with extensive academic, professional, and research experience needed to nurture me into the best public health expert. MEZCOPH is also very supportive and embraces the principles of diversity and equal opportunities for all.

    Swimming, Pickleball, Photography, Chess, Cycling, etc.
