    I was completing my BS in Public Health with a Global Health emphasis at the University of Arizona.

    Why did you choose public health?

    I chose public health to find out more about various health issues/diseases that affect communities, so that I can help improve the health of an entire community by increasing their knowledge about health issues/diseases and their accessibility to resources.

    Why did you choose MEZCOPH?

    I chose MEZCOPH because I really enjoyed all the connections I made with student and faculty during my undergrad. I also really appreciated how connected with the community the college is.

    Chronic Disease, Epidemiology, Global Health, Health Promotion, Infectious Disease

    Interests/hobbies outside of school:

    Reading, working out, traveling, watching shows/movies

    Tip for future students:

    Don't forget to take care of yourself! Your mental and physical health are so important in making it possible for you to achieve your goals. Take rest days when you start to feel overwhelmed by everything.
