Dean's Annual Fund Application
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Dean's Annual Fund provides funding ranging from $100 to $3500 to support community programs and/or research activities, mainly in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.
Eligibility and Application Requirements
The Dean’s Annual Fund is available to eligible faculty, staff, and students in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. Applicants may receive Dean’s Annual Fund support only once every two years. Funding may support research, community projects, internships, conference participation, global activities, and other approved professional or academic activities.
All applicants must provide the following with their application:
- A detailed project, internship, or conference summary, as applicable.
- A detailed budget for the requested funds.
- Documentation that the budget has been reviewed by the applicant’s department and a signature from the Department Chair.
Student applicants must also provide:
- The student’s degree program.
- A letter of support from their faculty advisor (or committee chair, as appropriate).
Conference funding: Applicants requesting funding to attend a conference must have an abstract accepted for presentation at the conference. An accepted abstract and documentation confirming the presentation must be submitted with the application.
All required supporting materials must be submitted with the application. Incomplete applications or applications that do not meet the eligibility requirements will not be considered for funding.
Applications are reviewed four times per year.
