Indigenous Day of Health

The American Indian & Indigenous Health Alliance, a Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health club, will be hosting the Indigenous Day of Health on November 17, 2023 from 11:00am to 3:00pm, outside Drachman Hall in the Walkway of Wellness.

The club will be selling food to support our student scholarships and members including stem corn mutton backbone stew, blue corn mush, sweetened blue corn tamales, meat tamales, cookies, pies and much more.

We will have an Indigenous student panel talking about their research experiences from 1:00 to 2:00pm in Drachman Hall, Room A112.

Following the student panel, UArizona Indigenous researchers, Dr. Felina Cordova-Marks and Dr. Kelsey John, will present on their research work and contributions to Indigenous Public Health.
