IndigiWellbeing Presents: Knitting with the Native Knitter

Join us for a free zoom class on how to create a mug rug and discuss wellness practices, led by Jennifer Berg, the Native Knitter!

Knitting with the Native Knitter: Knitting and Wellness Workshop
Knitwear designer Jennifer Berg grew up on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. She draws inspiration for her designs from her heritage as well as the beautiful landscapes. She has been designing for 5 years and has a desire to use her work to bring awareness for her people, Diné (Navajo).

By creating wearable artwork, others can respectfully join her in sharing about a people group who are often forgotten. Join Jennifer in her journey as she teaches, designs, and amplifies indigenous designs in the knitting community.

Participation is optional if you are only interested in learning more from this incredible artist. You will need 100 yards of worsted wool, your choice of color, and a size 8 knitting needle to participate in the workshop!
