Bryna Koch MPH, DrPH

Bryna Koch, DrPH is an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Arizona, Zuckerman College of Public Health. Since 2016 she has worked at the Arizona Center for Rural Health where she supports programs and projects by providing data collection, management, analysis, and reporting expertise. Currently her primary focus is on health workforce data collection, synthesis, and reporting in order to inform public health and healthcare partners about statewide workforce needs. Ms. Koch participates in statewide public health coalitions and her research interests center on the impacts and outcomes of the major policies like Affordable Care Act (ACA) on health insurance coverage, utilization, and outcomes for underserved and vulnerable populations. She is also interested in how the field of public health can effectively communicate information and data to inform policy and public health approaches. Ms. Koch has over 15 years of public health and education evaluation experience and has collaborated with community-based programs, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies.
