Biography

Roxanna currently serves as the Senior Manager at the University of Arizona Zuckerman College of Public Health Global Health Institute. Since joining the college in 2014, Roxanna has been a steadfast advocate for the institute’s mission and values, providing strategic leadership in managing day-to-day operations and supporting various education, research, and training programs. Her commitment to advancing global health education and fostering student engagement is evident in her role, where she spearheads initiatives that promote collaboration, innovation, and impactful outcomes. Roxanna's expertise extends to curriculum planning, outreach, recruitment, and facilitation of research and community health programs, including initiatives targeting high school students and training participants. Additionally, Roxanna serves as the Program Manager for the Global Health Equity Scholars Fellowship Program, an initiative supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). With a proven track record in managing academic, research, and community-based programs, Roxanna excels in cultivating strategic relationships and leveraging resources to achieve organizational goals.
