Biography
Spencer serves as an expert in online learning and educational technology, designing and facilitating faculty development trainings for UA faculty teaching online. In addition to OIA, Spencer is a Lecturer in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH), Department of Health Promotion Sciences.

Background & Education:
Spencer began his career in academia as an Assistant Professor of Health Promotion at Texas A&M University-Commerce, later relocating to Tucson to serve as Director of Online Programs and faculty advisor for the online MPH internship at MEZCOPH. His professional interests include experiential and active learning online as well as interprofessional education.
