2022 APHA expo in Boston, MA

Check out all the presentations from alumni, students, and faculty from the Zuckerman College of Public health at the annual meetings of the American Public Health Association in Minneapolis this year!

Join us in Minneapolis, October 27 – 30, for APHA's 2024 Annual Meeting and Expo and go see the presentations from alumni, students, and faculty from the Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona! The annual APHA meeting brings together public health professionals, researchers, and students from all over the country to connect, illuminate, and innovate. This is a unique opportunity to engage with public health experts, collaborate with other advocates, and grow professionally.

Rebuilding Trust in Public Health and Science

The theme of this year’s APHA Annual Meeting, Rebuilding Trust in Public Health and Science, points directly to one of the biggest challenges facing our nation. Public health is inherently future-focused, looking toward prevention and promotion to enable populations to live longer, healthier lives. But recent political polarization, underfunding and distrust of scientific research threaten our ability to create optimal, equitable health and well-being for all. The promise and effectiveness of public health is challenged by disinformation. We need to rebuild trust in public health and science.
