Congratulations to the recipients of the 2013 Arizona Health Sciences Center Staff Awards for Excellence. The award recognizes outstanding performance and achievement by classified staff and academic professionals in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health.
Amelia Lobos, project coordinator for the Women’s Health Initiative Study, received the Research Award and Sharon Van Skiver, administrative associate at the Center for Rural Health, was recognized for the Administrative Award.
This year’s Georgia Reynolds Dedicated Service Award went to Juan Carlos Portillo, program coordinator. Nominees for this award must have at least 15 years of cumulative employment with demonstrated service to the Arizona Health Sciences Center and the community.
The awards were presented in a ceremony held on April 11th in Duval Auditorium.
