This project focuses on work with farmers in rural communities for the promotion of safe animal practices to prevent infectious agent spread. Rural communities involved are located in Arizona. This project is a part of a subcontract. Project funding comes from the United States Department of Agriculture's Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (USDA - AFRI).
The primary research at Zuckerman College of Public Health is to advance fundamental, translational, and applied research that addresses the health needs of diverse populations and aims to make a profound and measurable impact on the health and well being of Arizonans and those living in the Southwest. The College’s research office fosters and supports this goal.
