Opioid Overdose & Naloxone Use Training

The Arizona Center for Rural Health (AzCRH) in collaboration with the Arizona Community Health Workers Association (AzCHOW) invite UAHS/UA students and professors to be trained on how to use naloxone to save a life.  

Learning Objectives: 

  • Identify the relationship between trauma and substance use. 
  • Recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. 
  • Identify aftercare next steps, including where to refer to resources. 

Find out how you can support friends, family, and community members who are at-risk for overdose and how to connect them to resources.
