Danielle joined MEZCOPH in April 2025 to support Main Campus MPH & COPH graduate certificate seeking students and brings 13 years of experience and service with UA student populations of undergraduate, graduate, and faculty support. After completing a BA in Communication from UA, she began professionally within undergraduate academic advising in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences for 3 years, and for the past 10 years she served in the College of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences (CALES) predominately with the Dept. of Agricultural & Resource Economics (AREC) and recently added a second graduate program the School of Plant Sciences for their MS & PhD programs. In addition to providing support to undergrad and graduate student populations, she also managed course scheduling, recruitment initiatives, AREC faculty related initiatives, CALES Coordinator for Academic Eligibility, and AREC Curriculum Development Director.

During her years of UA service Danielle has earned campus-wide, regional and global recognition for her intentional, caring, and knowledgeable support and contributions with recognitions including: Outstanding Staff in Support of Instruction & Student Services award from CALES; UA’s Program for Excellence for undergraduate academic advising, primary advisor award; Outstanding Administrative Advocate for Graduate and Professional Students award from UA’s Graduate & Professional Student Council, and two-time certificate of merit recipient for primary academic advisor role from both the Southwest Region 10 and the global level, from the globally recognized National Academic Advising Association (NACADA). Most recently, Danielle is recognized with UA’s University Award for Excellence - Individual Award, 2025. 

Being a strong student advocate is important to Danielle, and she also enjoys empowering students to be their best learner, be a connector to lead the student to appropriate contacts and resources and support them in learning how to advocate appropriately for themselves. She has shared that the MEZCOPH position she now holds of Academic Program Lead, Professional Masters and Certificate Programs is an honor and is happy to join the team of OSA professionals in support of our students, faculty and stakeholders and is eager to learn the MPH and certificate programs curriculum and become a valuable member of the College and OSA team.
