Why did you choose public health?
Due to my interest in worker health and safety, I chose to study public health to gain a deeper understanding of workplace hazards and how to effectively minimize them. As a physician, my goal is to support workers in creating safer work environments while improving their overall health. During my MPH program, I developed a strong interest in research, which motivated me to pursue a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences.
Why did you choose MEZCOPH?
I chose MEZCOPH because it was the only school where students personally reached out to me after my admission. They not only answered all my questions but also connected me with valuable scholarship resources that helped me secure strong funding for my graduate education. This made me feel a true sense of belonging, and I became confident that I would thrive at MEZCOPH with the support that was clearly available. Over the course of my MPH, I found that MEZCOPH provided numerous career development opportunities, which allowed me to grow both personally and professionally as a research-focused public health practitioner.
