I chose Public Health because I want to make a significant impact by improving health for many people. The focus on disease prevention and health education is important to me. I appreciate how Public Health combines different areas like medicine, sociology, and environmental science. The field offers a variety of career options, from epidemiology to health policy, allowing me to find a path that fits my interests. I chose MEZCOPH because it's known for its strong focus on practical public health work. The college offers a diverse range of disciplines like epidemiology and health policy, allowing me to explore my interests fully. With hands-on experience and support from experienced faculty, MEZCOPH provides the ideal environment for me to learn and contribute effectively to improving community health.

Fun Fact about you (hobbies, trivia, etc.):

Outside of school, I like to spend time with family and friends. I love scary movies, and the fall is my favorite season! I also enjoy going to the gym.

One piece of advice for incoming students (transfer and freshmen):

Some tips for future students would be: 1. Engage in extracurricular activities, volunteer work, internships, or research projects related to your field of study. This hands-on experience can enhance your learning, skills, and resume. 2. Embrace the learning process and enjoy your time as a student. Take pride in your achievements and learn from challenges along the way. 3. Remember to prioritize self-care, manage stress, and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being is essential for academic success.
