CoVHORT research study on COVID hits 5-year anniversary milestone

The college’s CoVHORT research study recently celebrated its 5-year anniversary, tracking more than 9,000 Arizona participants since early in the COVID pandemic and emerging as a leader in research on Long COVID symptoms and treatments.


The college’s CoVHORT research study recently celebrated its 5-year anniversary, a major milestone. The first CoVHORT survey went out on May 28, 2020, and since then more than 9,000 Arizonans have signed up to participate in the study! With a rich stock of data from the large cohort of participants, the CoVHORT team now guides vital research on Long COVID symptoms and treatments.

Congratulations to Dr. Kristen Pogreba-Brown and her CoVHORT team! They have done an amazing job of finding answers to questions about COVID and Long COVID that will benefit communities around Arizona and beyond.
