Student Internships

All Bachelor of Science students majoring in public health and Master of Public Health students are required to complete an internship project with a community organization. As a component of the Academic Health Department, MEZCOPH faculty and staff partner with health department personnel to support mutually beneficial internships for both students and health department staff. To advertise your internship through the College’s listservs and websites, please submit your internship description using our online internship template. For more information about developing an internship description or program through your health department, contact Paloma Beamer, pbeamer@arizona.edu.

Every semester, the Academic Health Department offers internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Details regarding the internship requirements and application process is posted on the hub for public health students. Additionally, the Academic Health Department has opportunities for student interns majoring in areas besides public health. E-mail Paloma Beamer at pbeamer@arizona.edu for more information.
