The importance of global health at MEZCOPH cannot be overstated, as it recognizes that health challenges and opportunities transcend geographical boundaries. MEZCOPH places a premium on understanding the interconnectedness of health issues worldwide, and our faculty, researchers, and students work tirelessly to address pressing global health concerns such as infectious diseases, access to healthcare, health disparities, and the impact of environmental factors on public health. By fostering a global perspective, MEZCOPH equips its community with the knowledge, skills, and compassion needed to confront the complex health challenges facing humanity, promote health equity, and make a meaningful difference on a global scale.
MEZCOPH’s Global Health Institute provides a comprehensive and integrated focal point for innovative public health education, training, collaborative research, and advocacy through domestic and global collaboration.
The vision of the Global Health Institute is to empower, inspire, and educate the next generation of globally-minded public health professionals who are committed to innovation, excellence, collaboration, and social justice. We aim to advance the field of global health through cutting-edge interprofessional education, research, interdisciplinary partnerships, and a deep dedication to addressing health disparities and promoting equity worldwide.
