Homecoming week events at the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health this Friday, Nov 7.

Don’t miss the Annual Diversity Celebration and Indigenous Day of Health at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health this Friday, Nov 7 at Drachman Hall.

Indigenous Day of Health, 12-2 p.m.

Celebrating the health of indigenous people in honor of Native American Heritage Month from 12-2 p.m. on the Walkway of Wellness in the courtyard of Drachman Hall. The event is hosted by the American Indian and Indigenous Health Alliance, a public health student organization.

  • Bake sale and live music performed by Christie Humphries on flute and the Black Mountain Drum Group (Tohono O'Odham).
  • Keynote Speaker: Shawn Duran, Taos Pueblo Tribal Administrator
  • The Center of American Indian Resilience presents a video screening of the 2014 Youth Video Contest.

Diversity Celebration, 5-8 p.m.

Join us for a night to celebrate the diversity represented by our faculty and students at the UA Zuckerman College of Public Health. Enjoy music, food and cultural performances by public health students. The event is hosted by the Public Health Student Alliance.
