As the college builds new global programs and partnerships, we have launched a new Global Health Institute website that will highlight our global education, research, and cooperative projects.

The Global Health Institute (GHI) at the Zuckerman College of Public Health guides a network of partnerships that deliver innovative public health education, training, collaborative research and advocacy in countries around the world. Building on a decade of global engagement, GHI continues to develop new programs and partnerships around the world. To highlight our global programs, we created a new website that describes our educational opportunities and partnerships, our international research, and the global projects that form our global public health network. We equip students locally and globally with the skills needed to become globally minded and culturally competent public health professionals capable of addressing any global public health challenge.

The college wants to thank and congratulate Roxanna Apaez, Global Health Institute Manger, and Michael Martelle, Web Application Developer, for their outstanding work on the new GHI website with the guidance of Iman Hakim, MD, PhD, MPH, Dean of the Zuckerman College of Public Health, and Gaby Valdez, PhD, Director of Global Education. The GHI website was built with UA Quickstart 1.0, a set of web branding assets created by the team at Arizona Digital and we would like to thank them for their ongoing commitment to building the UArizona web brand.
