Amrita Mukherjee, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH). Dr. Mukherjee has a doctorate degree in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to joining MEZCOPH, Dr. Mukherjee completed her postdoctoral training in Cancer Epidemiology at Kaiser Permanente Southern California, Pasadena. Her research focuses on health disparities and cardiometabolic health in breast cancer and gynecologic oncology patients. Her other research interests include cancer screening and women’s reproductive health.
