Ashley Weathers

Ashley grew up in Arizona and earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University. She discovered her passion for medicine while working as an Emergency Department technician in both Arizona and Chicago. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University, Mesa, AZ, campus.

Ashley began her PA career in Tucson, working in Neurosurgery as a surgical first assist and caring for high-acuity, complex patients in the Intensive Care Unit and perioperative settings. She later transitioned to pediatrics, where she has spent the past four years providing comprehensive care to children and their families. She is passionate about creating an environment where patients feel heard, supported, and cared for.

Her interest in teaching has led her to lecture on various pediatric topics and assist with skills training for PA students. Her global health work includes time in Malawi in southern Africa, where she supported community-based care and helped train local providers in evidence-based practices.

Outside of medicine, Ashley enjoys exploring local coffee shops, practicing yoga, trail running, and spending time with her dog, Scoops.
