Terry Urbine,PhD, associate research scientist at the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the College of Pharmacy—serves as assistant professor, University of Arizona’s College of Medicine and Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and as a statistician at the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Phoenix.
With a focus on telemedicine, diagnostic testing, health outcomes and finance, Urbine lectures about practice management and healthcare technology. His numerous research grants, journal articles and presentations address medication-assisted addiction treatment, integrative medicine, hyperkalemia, organizational linkage intervention, adverse drug events and lung cancer screening.

Research Synopsis
My current research interests are in the economics of disease management, comparative effectiveness of interventions, costs and benefits of medication adherence, personalized medicine biomarker economics, health information technology, and telemedicine.
