Why did you choose public health?
I chose public health after learning about careers in gerontology and long-term care administration. I want to create a safe space for older adults to live out the ends of their lives with dignity, respect, and joy.
Why did you choose MEZCOPH?
I chose MEZCOPH after taking a few courses in my undergrad for the Insights into Healthy Aging Certificate. My current faculty mentor taught those classes, and I found them incredibly engaging, interesting, and more like something I wanted to do for a career with every passing day. MEZCOPH started me down that path, so I wanted to continue down it and finish it there.
