I chose Public Health because I’ve always been a social person who enjoys connecting with others, and I want to use that to make a difference, especially in underserved communities. Public Health has given me space to explore different perspectives and how I can bring these perspectives into my future as a dentist.

Why choose the UA / What’s awesome about the UA:
I chose MEZCOPH because I knew I wanted to go to U of A, and I saw that MEZCOPH has a very strong public health program, and I knew that I wanted to go into public health

tennis, shopping, shadowing dentists, working at the salt center, tutoring, hanging out with friends, working out
One piece of advice for incoming students (transfer and freshmen):
lock in, meet new people, be social, it is what it is
