This virtual seminar will provide information on what epigenetics is and how epigenetics has been used in the FFCCS to uncover subtle impacts on the body from firefighting exposures. Dr. Jackie Goodrich is an environmental epidemiologist at the University of Michigan and an FFCCS Co-Lead. She is leading FFCCS analyses involving epigenetics and also investigations about how responding to high-risk low-frequency incidents impacts firefighter health.
