Alisa Lyesina earned her MPH degree with a perfect 4.0 GPA while balancing her academic achievements with other pursuits. During her internship with the Kyah Rayne Foundation, Alisa created a national expansion roadmap for food allergy and anaphylaxis education – a public health education initiative that began in Arizona and now reaches to Michigan and Pennsylvania, with the potential to expand nationwide. Her project was titled Applying Ethical Principles to Epinephrine Program Outreach and Evaluation. Alisa won the 2025 Outstanding MPH Student Award.
Beyond the classroom, Alisa also competed at the highest level as a Division 1 Track and Field athlete. As a cross country runner, she represented the University of Arizona at the Big 12 Championships. She brought the same determination to her pursuit of public health!
