Major in Public Health: Health Systems Theory and Practice Minor in Biology
I selected the College of Public Health to gain a comprehensive and interdisciplinary understanding of healthcare administration, bioethics, environmental and occupational health, health policy and regulation, and health disparities among minority populations. My goal is to connect these areas of study in order to improve public health outcomes and promote the safety and well being of the broader population

Why choose the UA / What’s awesome about the UA:

I chose the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health because I was welcomed into a supportive and inclusive community from the very beginning. MEZCOPH has provided me with a network of like-minded individuals who are deeply committed to the well-being of others and the pursuit of the greater good. Throughout my time as a student, my ideas and perspectives have not only been welcomed but actively encouraged. I have been inspired to explore a wide range of public health topics, to serve the public with integrity, and to embrace the belief that my potential is limitless.

Why did you choose public health?

I selected the College of Public Health to gain a comprehensive and interdisciplinary understanding of healthcare administration, bioethics, environmental and occupational health, health policy and regulation, and health disparities among minority populations. My goal is to connect these areas of study in order to improve public health outcomes and promote the safety and well-being of the broader population

Fun Fact about you (hobbies, trivia, etc.):

Pilates, yoga, cooking/baking, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends!

One piece of advice for incoming students (transfer and freshmen):

Work hard. Discover what you're truly passionate about and pursue it wholeheartedly. Build connections. They’ll not only support your journey but also fill your heart with meaning. Expect challenges along the way. They’re a natural part of learning and growing. And above all, always be good to people. Kindness will take you further than you think.
