Education Programs

If you are interested in how climate change and other human impacts on the environment affect human, animal and environmental health, then training in One Health may be the path for you. Students who pursue the study of One Health will learn about deep connections between people and the natural world, especially on critical issues such as zoonotic diseases, climate change and pollution. 

The Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health offers several degree and certificate programs in One Health for students and working professionals. Career opportunities can be found in local, state or federal health departments, nongovernmental organizations, foundations, global health agencies, agricultural agencies and companies, academia and other places vital to protecting public health.

One Health Internships

One Health internships provide practical experiences in the workplace for both undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Arizona. Graduate students can receive up to $3,500 and undergraduate students can receive up to $2,500 to support their participation.
