Undergraduate Healthcare Business Management Certificate
The Healthcare Business Management Certificate is a customized program available to students in the Zuckerman College of Public Health and Eller College Majors only. Healthcare is interdisciplinary and students may be able to find courses offered through other Colleges on campus to provide other perspectives to healthcare.
Note: Students may apply 6 units towards their major/minor/general education requirements.

Prerequisites
- 2.0 GPA
- Majoring in Zuckerman college of Public Health or Eller College
- Some offered certificate courses may have pre-requisites that are not specific to the certificate
Admissions Information
Certificate applicants must meet UA undergraduate admissions requirements and complete the registration portal on the Eller College website to declare the Certificate.

Course Requirements
Required Courses (3 units)
Students must complete 1 course (3 units) from the following options:
- MGMT 438 Health Care Organizations and Management
- PHPM 310 Healthcare in the US
Electives (9 units)
Some courses listed have additional pre-requisite requirements. Public health course offerings typically require junior/senior status for enrollment. Exceptions for public health courses can be made on a case by case basis.

Relevant Advising Policies
- Minimum GPA for required coursework: 2.0
- Double dipping: No more than 50% (6) of the units of credit used to complete the certificate can also be used for a current degree requirement (i.e., major, minor, or General Education), second certificate, or previously awarded degree program.
