Community Advisory Board

The role of the Community Advisory Board is to support the mission of the College by increasing awareness of health promotion and prevention strategies through community collaboration, fund raising and advocacy activities. The members of the Board are:

JoAnna Westcott

Chairwoman of the Board, President of Bill Westcott Inc.

Ms. Westcott is the President of Bill Westcott Incorporated, a financial services firm focused on investing and retirement planning. JoAnna is very active in Tucson’s fine arts community and serves on several community boards.


Kate Breck Calhoun

Kate is the Sales and Marketing Director with the Tucson Convention Center where she is responsible for promoting the facility and the events, ensuring contractual agreements are met and oversees the public relations with the community.

Kate has actively led the team through COVID-19; communicating with Pima County Health Department, medical professionals and government officials to identify best practices for hosting and executing events. Kate is passionate about health promotion and literacy. She is a certified group fitness instructor for Les Mills International teaching Bodycombat™, Bodystep™, and Bodyjam™.

Kate has been an active member of several working boards in the community including El Rio Health Center Foundation, Carondelet Foundation, WISE Arizona (Women in Sports and Events) and she was appointed to Citizens Police Review Advisory Board by Councilperson Nikki Lee.

Kate has two children, Nicole and Matthew and two rescued Greyhounds, Grace and Gertrude.


Robert Guerrero

Southern Arizona Outreach and Constituent Services Representative, Office of U.S. Senator Mark Kelly

Mr. Guerrero's community involvement is extensive; he has served as President of the Tucson Hispanic Coalition, as Vice President for the Hispanic Professional Action Committee, as Co-Chair of the Arizona-Mexico Commission's Health Services Committee, and more. His interest and expertise is with the U.S. Mexico border region, rural Southern Arizona, and Mexico.


Will Humble, MPH, Dr. hc '15

Executive Director, Arizona Public Health Association

Will Humble is a long-time public health enthusiast, and is currently the Executive Director for the Arizona Public Health Association (AzPHA). His 30 years in public health include more than 2 decades at the Arizona Department of Health Services, where he served in various roles including as the Director from 2009 to 2015. Prior to being appointed Director, he worked in various capacities in the public health preparedness service line. Most recently, he was a health policy director at the University of Arizona from 2015-2017. He continues to be involved in health policy in his role with AzPHA and as Adjunct Faculty with the UA Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health.

He has a BS in Marketing from NAU, a BS in Microbiology from ASU, and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science from the University of Arizona in 2015 for engaging partnerships between academic and executive public health.

He's active in the community and his home life, serving on the Board of Directors of the Scottsdale Training and Rehabilitative Services (STARS) and the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA).

Will is a believer in using evidence-based health policy as a means to improving health outcomes and in leading and managing with emotional intelligence.


Jan Konstanty

Jan Konstanty has an extensive business background in U.S. and international markets, Mr. Konstanty is proficient in strategy development - how to identify markets and successfully position and grow a business. Throughout his career, he has successfully restructured and repositioned as well as disposed of businesses. He has strong analytical skills, with expertise in financial, credit and risk analysis and the functioning of capital market. Jan teaches in the areas of innovation, strategy and corporate governance.


Lupita Murillo

Veteran Journalist, Former KVOA News 4 Reporter

The recipient of several Edward R. Murrow Awards, Murillo spent much of her career as an investigative reporter specializing in crime for KVOA News 4 Tucson. She earned frequent recognition for her work including awards from the Arizona Press Club, United Press International, the Associated Press, and many community organizations. Murillo has also been recognized nationally by the American Women in Radio and Television, and is the recipient of the Silver Circle, part of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, a society of honor that combines professional and community involvement by the Emmy's.  Dedicated to the community, Murillo gives her time and talent to numerous regional organizations and charities, including the Boys and Girls Club, Tihan Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network, and UA Hispanic Alumni.


Edye Riharb

Agent, Long Realty Company

Edye Riharb is a full-time real estate agent with extensive knowledge and experience. She has a sensibility and expertise in interior design, and she founded her Design Concepts business to offer those creative staging and design skills to clients. In addition to her real estate career, Edye has over 30 years’ experience in business management and finance as well as being dedicated to community causes where she has over 25 years of experience in non-profit board leadership, development and fundraising. She currently serves on the boards of Long Realty Cares Foundation and the Tucson Medical Center Foundation. She is especially sympathetic to programs that support the health and wellness of our communities in Tucson.


Christine Bracamonte Wiggs, MPH '02 , MS '10, PhD '16

President, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Foundation for Community & Health Advancement

Dr. Wiggs leads corporate social responsibility, philanthropic investment, and public health initiatives for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Foundation for Community & Health Advancement. Leveraging over two decades of experience in healthcare and public health, Dr. Wiggs spearheads multifaceted strategies that support and elevate the health of customers, members, community organizations, and Arizonans statewide.

As she built her public health career at the University of Arizona, Dr. Wiggs led community-based applied research and evaluation initiatives, serving vulnerable populations including substance using, HIV/AIDS, and homeless youth and adults. She received her Bachelor of Science from Gonzaga University, and holds an MPH from the Zuckerman College of Public Health and an MS and PhD from the Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences, University of Arizona. A native Arizonan, Dr. Wiggs is passionate about working closely with communities to build the resources and capacity needed to improve the health of all.


Amy Zuckerman, D.HumL '23

Amy is a community advocate, photographer and supporter of rural and public health. She has served in the Tucson community for many years on such boards as Group for Photographic Intentions, Center for Creative Photography, Office of Cultural Affairs, UA Presents, T.R.O.T. ,The Loft Theatre and Tucson Values Teachers. She has been a recipient of the Arizona Commission as well as awarded a residency at the Yaddo Artist Colony. Amy's work is in permanent collections at the Arizona State Museum, Institute of Afro-American Affairs, National Museum of Kenya, New York Public Library, Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Steele Memorial Children's Research Center, Smithsonian Institution, Tucson Museum of Art and the University of Arizona (main library). Her photography has been exhibited widely in both the U.S., Africa and Mexico. She currently enjoys working on her 13 acre horse ranch and doing philanthropic work in the Tucson community.


Nicole Zuckerman-Morris, JD

Executive Director, Zuckerman Family Foundation

Nicole earned her Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law and a BS in Economics from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.  Nicole has practiced law in the areas of business litigation, corporate law, and in-house counsel. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Zuckerman Family Foundation and sits on numerous non-profit boards. Nicole served as honorary co-chair of the MEZCOPH 10th anniversary gala planning committee, Co-Chair of the 20th Anniversary Gala, and devotes time to many educational and health initiatives. A native Tucsonan, she currently resides in San Diego where she enjoys spending time at the beach with her two children, two dogs, and her husband, Ken.
