Why choose the UA / What’s awesome about the UA:

The University of Arizona has become a place that I truly consider home. There are so many beautiful spots on campus to study, relax, and hang out with friends. With an abundance of clubs, volunteer opportunities, and campus events, the UA offers something exciting for every student.

Why did you choose public health?

I first started with only a minor, but after taking one Public Health course I fell in love with the field and its potential to improve the health and well-being at a population scale. Something I really appreciate about Public Health is the emphasis on interdisciplinary connections, integrating every aspect of a person's life to create a more holistic understanding of health.

    What are your career goals:

I am currently applying to medical school in hopes of becoming a primary care physician in the future. Studying public health has truly supported my in this drive, teaching me about health at a larger scale and highlighting the need for change to the healthcare system.

Fun Fact about you (hobbies, trivia, etc.):

In my free time, I love to cook, practice yoga, snowboard, crochet, and try all of Tucson's amazing restaurants!

One piece of advice for incoming students (transfer and freshmen):

Take classes that are exciting to you! There are so many unique courses at the UA to take advantage of, and being interested in a class motivates success.
