What else are you involved in?I am currently volunteering with public health agencies in Tucson, while working part time!
Why choose the UA / What’s awesome about the UA:I chose the UA because there are many opportunities to do things and everyone is so nice here.
Why did you choose public health?I chose public health because it encompasses so many different fields and focuses on prevention of diseases.
What are your career goals:I want to be an infectious disease epidemiologist and eventually work for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Fun Fact about you (hobbies, trivia, etc.):I enjoy making cupcakes, reading infectious disease books, and watching movies (especially Harry Potter).
One piece of advice for incoming students (transfer and freshmen):It's okay to change your major. I changed mine five times before I decided on one. Do something that interest you!
