Compassion Fatigue Workshop

You are invited to join the Center for Rural Health, Health Navigators team to attend a Life and Work Presentation at the College of Public Health, Drachman Hall, room A112 (1205 N. Martin Avenue, Tucson, AZ  85721).  The topic of Life and Work Connections is:  Helpful Anchors To Navigate Compassion Fatigue.

PLEASE SHARE with your community and those who may be interested as this is a great event to hear Laqwanda Roberts-Buckley talk about taking a closer look at compassion fatigue and how implementing some anchors may help us regain balance. Helping and supporting others can be a wonderful experience that can pour into us on a daily basis. However, sometimes helping can pull on us in a way to where we become drained or exhausted, leading to compassion fatigue.

In this workshop, Laqwanda Roberts-Buckley, a mental health and wellness expert, will guide participants to use stress management techniques and anchors to avoid compassion fatigue. The presentation will be both in-person and on Zoom. Come check it out!
