Evidence for Establishing Optimum Protein Intake for Older Adults

Dr. Jeannette Beasley is a nutritional epidemiologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She obtained her B.Sc. in biology at the College of William and Mary, MPH/RD in nutrition at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and Ph.D. in epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

A focus of her research is identifying dietary patterns associated with healthy aging. She has published over 35 articles in peer-reviewed journals, authored 7 book chapters, and has developed and evaluated technological approaches for dietary assessment.
