Indigenous Health: Connecting with Wellbeing and Community Day

Join us at the Walkway of Wellness outside Drachman Hall on February 4, 2023 from 10am-3pm.

Connect with community members, students, alumni, faculty, and staff at our Indigenous Health: Connecting with Wellbeing and Community Day. This day is full of events focused on knowledge, wellness, and community including:

  • Traditional blessing with Miguel Flores Jr. LISAC, CSOTS
  • Discussion on Indigenous Wellness from the Director of Healthy Tribes at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and our 2022-2023 Alumna of the Year, Dr. Julianna Reece MD, MPH '96
  • Workshops on traditional Indigenous cultural activities
  • IndigiWellbeing lecture and teaching demonstration

Enjoy traditional Tohono O'odham food and connect with the community for a day of Indigenous health.
